أعتقد أننا تعبنا كثيرًا، من كثير الأسماء التي فقدناها وتعجز عنها الذاكرة، ومن القصف المكرر والقهر المتجدد وعواميد الألم المُعلّاة فوق قلوبنا.. يا الله، أتوق لمعرفة النهاية، أي نهاية، نهايتي، نهاية الحرب، نهاية حزن البلاد، أي نهاية يا رب، أي نقطة في آخر السطر.. يا الله نرجوك أن ينتهي كل هذا.. تعبنا
